The Mega Rock Band Kiss comes up against an arch rival, The Phantom. Abner Devereaux, aka The Phantom, is brewing up a devious plot to turn humans into robot clones and then take over the world. Kiss has to call upon their special super powers to combat the evil phantom. The amusement park backdrop is so perfect for this Good vs Evil or Kiss Vs Phantom matchup. This film was made only a couple years after Kiss had released Kiss Alive II, one of the best selling live concert albums of the 70s. Wonderfully silly and hilariously full of laughable dialogue this one is for a fun night with some popcorn in front of the TV. Gene and Paul have never looked or sounded better.

Gene, Paul and the rest of the Kiss gang give equally bad performances but that only adds to the special sauce of this little slice of cheese. This film is a C Cult Classic to be sure and has aged well as far as the genre goes. This was Kiss's foyer into the movies and it was classic C movie romp. From the terrible acting, to the super silly story, to the cheesy costumes and the laughable script - KISS fans will undoubtedly LOVE this release.
