Matt Dillon plays Jack Duncan, a youthful and athletic boy meets a well off young lady, Ginny Peterson, played by Cindy Fisher. Jack and Ginny begin to see each other but Ginny's parents work hard to keep them apart. Despite Ginny's parents efforts they continue to see one another and fall in love. Jack and Ginny elope then Ginny finds out she is pregnant but there is something very wrong. What they discover will change them for the rest of their lives. A solid early performance by Matt Dillon and his supporting cast as well.
