DVD Synopsis and information:
A fantastic musical that has brilliant comedic performances. Lee Marvin Plays Ben Rumson and he is a cranky old time western guy that always has a itch to scratch with Pardner, played by a young and devastatingly handsome Clint Eastwood. The setting is a gold mining town that is exploding with good and sometimes bad fortune. The musical score by Lerner and Loewe is simply tremendous and was sadly overlooked at Oscar time when it was initially released. The performances are all terrific and this is a truly American Western musical adventure and extravaganza.
