Timothy Dalton and Joanne Whalley Kilmer are fantastic and have never been better. A classic made for TV mini series with grand style. This absolutely deserves a place on your shelf if you are a fan of Gone With The Wind or grand epics. This was a very popular mini-series and its easy to see why. An absolute joy to enjoy again and again. Dalton has limited screen time but makes his presence felt. Scarlett continues to be a highly sought after DVD set on home video.
 
An excellent look into high society and their real world troubles. This mini series covers a lot of ground and goes into Scarlett's character in greater detail than the original Gone With The Wind. The set design team and director do a magnificent job transporting the cast, crew and audience back to the late 19th century. A fantastic voyage further into the lives of Scarlett and Rhett. A must own title for fans of the original Gone With The Wind or any love story epic. The performances are well above your average TV mini-series fair.
