Mimi Rogers gives a wonderful holiday performance as a perfume sales person Melody Parris. Melody feels like her life is sort of stuck in a rut. She has a not so exciting boyfriend that absolutely will not commit to her in any way. Melody gets passed over for a promotion at the store where she works and she is beginning to think her life is not going well at all. She then makes up her mind to create her own Christmas list. Melody finishes her special list and she proceeds to deposit it in Santa's mailbox at the department store where she works. Amazingly Melody begins to get everything she wanted that she put om her Christmas List 1997 DVD. 

The Christmas List 1997 DVD is a wonderful made for TV Christmas movie and really sets itself apart from many of the average holiday films. Mimi Rogers is perfect for this role, she plays this very natural and you believe in her well crafted and performed character right away.
