This is a strange and funny story of the new girl. The clueless women are dying to find out just who she is Stockard Channing plays Miriam, an ugly woman who is dumped and kicked around by everyone. After her heart is torn out by a callous campus athlete, Miriam tears up and  speeds off in her car and crashes that results in a bad accident. Major reconstructive surgery is required, and when Miriam comes to she is transformed into a stellar beauty.Miriam is ravishingly beautiful and she now uses her new weapon to get back at all those who treated her poorly. It's payback, big time when she uses her new looks to take vengeance out on all those who wronged her. Ed Asner plays the cop who is on the trail of the femme fatale.

Channing is excellent in this offbeat comedy. Another very cool part of this movie is seeing Channing play all the roles of the various females throughout the film. Rarely does a dark comedy come along that you can really laugh out loud to. A cool dark comedy written by Joan Rivers is very funny and has a sting to each of its messages of be careful who you trounce on.
