Disney puts together an amazing Live Action version of the Jungle Book. Jason Scott Lee plays the immortal Mowgli and is supported by a fanstic cast. Sam Neill plays Major Brydon with a sturdiness while Cary Elwes plays Captain Boone with a dark and cruel tone. Kitty is Lee's love interest and she eventually pulls him out of his homeland and thus the story really begins to take hold. This is a true adventure film with mythic treasure, romance and lots of animal characters. The on location cinematography in India is simply stunning with lavish jungle environments. Lee, Neill and the remaining cast are terrific. Disney made a great live action film that is quite different than the animated version of the same title. This is an absolute must own for Disney and Jungle Book fans. After almost 20 years The Jungle Book 1994 live action version is still an amazing film and delights fans over and over.
