What would you do if one day your child just disappeared? Kate Nelligan plays Susan, an upper middle class mom that has her child vanish. Judd Hirsch plays Al Menetti, a cop that is spread too thin and light on resources to adequately deal with child disappearance of this magnitude. Susan does everything she can from using the media to involving her former husband (played by David Dukes) and her friends. Kate Nelligan gives a marvelous performance as she grinds through the days while her son is missing.
 
The supporting cast is also tremendous in this film. The range of emotion that a mother must goes through in this situation is well represented by Nelligan's excellent portrayal of Susan. This is a must own for fans of missing children drama. Kate Nelligan and Judd Hirsch have never been better.
